“Sextortion”, nudes, location tracking… these are just a few of the very real threats confronting our young adults, in today’s ever-evolving world of technology and social media.

Please join us next Wednesday, August 16th, as we partner with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for an internet safety event, designed to educate parents about how to keep their children safe.
Special Agent, Andy Hendrix, has been conducting training sessions like this for years, but because NEW threats are constantly emerging… there’s always something new that parents can take away,  “We’re seeing new trends in cyber bullying and exploitation – and these new trends have to do with social media. Our goal is to raise awareness about the issues and make sure parents know how to respond.”

The presentation will include tips and strategies from iGuardian and NetSmartz, designed to empower parents, teachers and administrators in the digital age. Everyone is encouraged to attend this event, which will be held

Wednesday, August 16TH
6:00 p.m.

Note: Due to some of the graphic nature of this presentation, only Parents/Adults will be allowed to attend.
